Not quite a patriotic post for Dad.

I recently learned that besides Lisa, Tammy, Cherish and myself Mike sometimes visits our blogs. Enjoy these glamour shots of Dad.

I wanted to say to everyone that Dad still has birthdays, and that yesterday was one of the 50 odd birthdays that he's had.
He had no cake, he had no birthday card and he got no presents. Out of those three I'm sure he would have enjoyed having a cake, unless his present was something he could eat.
Today like an afterthought, I gave him a suit jacket of mine that he'd been coveting for some months. John bought him a packet of identical guitar picks. The rest of us listened when he forcefully claimed to not want any presents -something he says every year- this year is the first that we've taken him at his word, probably this is the first time we haven't had any money to spend on him. Of course, every likes something wrapped and Dad isn't any different. Really he doesn't like us to spend money on him -or anything else...
