Hitler was underestimated. The biggest mistake his enemies made was to treat him with disdain, to ridicule him. Hitler was a truely evil man. Not an insignificant ridiculous one. Great men are often evil. And Hitler, despite all of his horrifying attributes was a great man. As he demonstrated over and over again by the boldness of is vision and the cunningness of his instincts. Hitler had a magic touch and none of his adversaries could compete with him.
